We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionWhat you’re responsible for: As a pricing analyst, you will act as a key player in the development, implementation and monitoring of pricing strategies. Visiting sites to gain firsthand insight into operations and local market realities, ensuring pricing strategies are grounded in day-to-day business needs. You’re comfortable shifting between data analysis and operational collaboration, and you understand that impactful pricing strategies start with a deep understanding of what's happening on the ground.Monitoring and documenting market and price developments by region on a daily basis.Supporting sites in communicating new pricing strategies and other business initiatives.Using data and performance indicators (KPIs) from branches and industrial sites and recommending effective pricing strategies and opportunities for improvement.Conducting macro and micro analyses of the metal recycling market and regional profiles to identify purchasing trends and guide strategic decisions.Leading discussions to resolve issues related to price positioning and propose possible solutions.Collaborating with the marketing team for pricing campaigns and other projects related to improving AIM market share.QualificationsTo join our team: You have a bachelor's degree in administration, economics, marketing, or related field.You have relevant experience in market analysis, pricing or business strategy.You have excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, more specifically Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI).You are open to business travel (about 25-30% of the time)You have excellent oral and written communication skills in French and EnglishYou’re equally at ease with Excel models as you are with steel-toe boots.Additional InformationWhat we offer!A competitive annual salary, vacation, benefits and a RRSP matching programAnnual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependentsThe tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional developmentA dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!
