Mid-Level Cost Estimator Company: Boeing Canada Operations Ltd Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Mid-Level Cost Estimator, reporting to the Finance Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, MB office. This Mid-level Cost Estimator will support the development of estimates across Boeing Commercial products to support the Composite Manufacturing at Boeing Winnipeg business unit as well as assisting supplier management with cost estimates for metallic parts. This position will work closely with Engineering and other functional organizations to create estimates for commercial products. This position will have high visibility and exposure to a variety of critical programs to support impactful business decisions. Position Responsibilities: • Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices • Develops estimating and pricing methods. Evaluates and develops business cases • Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating • Working closely with technical teams, business operations and other organizations to understand the project and develop cost impacts • Identifying, analyzing, and solving systematic problems, while maintaining focus on the bigger picture • Ensuring alignment between estimates and financial forecast This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Must be legally able to work in Canada • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data • 3+ years of experience in Estimating & Pricing and/or Procurement Financial Analysis • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • 1+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results • 1+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics • Experience working in a technical, operational or manufacturing environment with the ability to translate that knowledge into financial opportunities • Experience using communication skills to excelling in a collaborative environment • Ability to problem solve skills with innovation • Goal-oriented, with a focus on utilizing data for insight • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage projects independently in an environment with competing priorities Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
