Job Description What is the Opportunity? The Endpoint Security Integration team supports multiple critical enterprise-wide security applications. We are looking for a Senior Endpoint Security Specialist to join our team in helping protect RBC. In this role you will provide in-depth technical expertise, configuration, consulting, and advisory on applications for the Endpoint Security Integration team within RBC’s Global Security environment. The Senior Endpoint Security Specialist will partner across various teams and with assigned business line(s) to assess, research, and analyze business, technical and system needs to maintain RBC security posture. What will you do? Act as a technical product owner for Endpoint Security technology ensuring we are providing global, industry leading protection to RBC on-premises and in the cloud Work hands on to maintain product health, stability, technology currency, audit readiness, security policies and more to ensure products are operating with excellence Drive and support both project work and operational work to expand, uplift, and maintain our security capabilities Work closely and collaborate with peers and business partners to understand endpoint security requirements and 3rd party application capabilities for on-premises, cloud, and container solutions. Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes. Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Strong knowledge of and the ability to support multiple Endpoint Security applications (BeyondTrust, Snare, Splunk, Encase, etc.) on Windows, Linux, AIX, and MacOS platforms Endpoint security expertise and technology management in the following areas:Endpoint Privilege Management capabilities, Enterprise Security Logging, Security Forensics, enterprise agent deployments etc. Knowledge of Windows and Unix OS platforms Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues within multiple technologies. Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work closely with peers and business partners, and technical documentation writing skills. Capability to manage multiple priorities across several assignments while prioritizing effectively. Nice-to-have: Certifications in information security (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CEH, ITIL) Prior end user technology support experience is considered an asset. Prior Security Operations Centre (SOC) or similar security operations role is considered an asset. Knowledge of cloud and container platforms Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses. What’s in it for you?
