Job Description What is the opportunity? Senior Architect, Data and AI Architecture, Enterprise Architecture Provides Enterprise Architecture Solutioning and Governance for AI and Data initiatives across the bank. Needs to be involved in setting strategic direction for our architecture and technologies. Needs to have a strong grasp of either (or both) AI or Data technologies and their application in an enterprise. Needs to have hands on experience and a passion for diving deep, whilst staying on top of the latest internal/external trends and innovation. Needs to have a delivery mindset, be opinionated and driven and have the ability to balance competing asks. This role will also help to ensure applications and initiatives align with our technology reference model, key platforms, patterns and best practices for architecture. As part of this we need to continue to develop our technology reference model, well architected framework and AI automation for governance. Ensures correct patterns are approved for the organization and that these are fit for purpose and implementable Partners with RBC’s Data & AI teams to ensure appropriate solution governance is considered. Partner with lines of business teams to ensure they are adopting the right architecture, or we consider the necessary changes to our standards. What will you do? Provides Enterprise Architecture Governance for AI and Data initiatives across the bank. Dive into Solutions; be an expert on AI and Data technology and how they should be utilized Ensure applications and initiatives align with our technology reference model, key platforms, patterns and best practices for architecture. Offer hands on experience and partner with solution architects / business partners on solution architectural designs and options. Partner with SMEs to ensure well architected solutions that are fit for purpose Ensure strong governance practices. Automate governance activities with AI Lead technical implementation of Low code workflows and POCs. Align to key programs as required, such as ‘Intelligent Operations’ to provide close guidance and help with EA requirements and process. What do you need to succeed? Must Have 5-10 years AI and/or Data technology experience Hands on development experience with these technologies Nice to Have Enterprise architecture experience Solution architecture experience What’s in it for you?
