The opportunity
As the Assistant Director of Brand Strategy, you will assume a pivotal role in steering the firm's most impactful marketing efforts and firm-wide strategic initiatives. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for seamlessly integrating the EY brand and executing programs tailored to the business priorities that drive significant business impact.
Your key responsibilities
Support the creative direction of internal and external branding efforts in Canada, ensuring cohesive integration of cross-channel programs and initiatives with bold and impactful messaging.
Translate EY Canada’s brand strategy into compelling, market-relevant programs and narratives.
Develop and execute integrated brand activation plans aligned with EY Canada’s strategic goals.
Collaborate with sector, service line, and innovation teams to embed brand themes into go-to-market strategies.
Guide the expression of EY’s global brand in the Canadian market, ensuring relevance and resonance.
Partner with internal teams to shape national campaigns and ensure brand consistency across initiatives.
Activate sponsorships and partnerships that align with brand priorities and amplify EY’s presence.
Build internal engagement through toolkits, campaigns, and communications that empower employees as brand ambassadors.
Track brand health and campaign performance using KPIs and insights from research and analytics.
What we look for
Demonstrated brand/marketing leadership experience with a large, matrixed, fast-paced and complex B2B organization.
Proven track-record with rich, hands-on brand and marketing experience developing and managing brand strategy, campaigns, content and digital marketing across channels and formats.
Seasoned brand marketer who leverages futurist thinking to develop programs and breakthrough creative that sets organizations apart in the market.
Articulate and influential relationship builder who manages stakeholder groups proactively (including C-Suite, senior leadership, teams and external vendors).
Natural self-starter and curious problem-solver who drives ideation and innovation with a solution-oriented focus. No issue is too big.
Organized, data-driven strategist who uses metrics and voice of the customer insights to identify white space, inform improvements, and evolve initiatives accordingly.
Excellent and effective communicator who listens, writes, edits and presents exceptionally well.
Committed to cultivating diverse perspectives and an inclusive culture to drive better decisions, stimulate innovation, improve organizational agility and strengthen resilience.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or communications; MBA preferred.
8+ years B2B marketing experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment; agency experience is a strong asset.
5-7 years in managing direct teams, multiple priorities, large initiatives and critical deadlines.
Proven brand expertise and a passion for building brand strategies and programs, internally and externally, from the ground up.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $ 92,300 to $153,800. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
