Responsibilities: Drive New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and revenue streams for Omnissa. Business Development from the Ground Up: Build and nurture relationships with prospects from scratch, leveraging networking, cold outreach, and industry events to generate leads and close deals. Reseller Enablement & Education: Conduct training sessions, webinars, and one-on-one engagements to educate resellers on Omnissa’s product offerings, value propositions, and sales strategies. Sales Enablement Support: Equip resellers with the tools, resources, and messaging needed to effectively position and sell Omnissa solutions to end customers. Strategic Positioning of Ingram Micro with Omnissa: Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance Ingram Micro’s value proposition in alignment with Omnissa’s market goals. Partner Discovery & Development: Identify and onboard new channel partners and resellers that align with Omnissa’s target market and growth objectives. Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop: Gather insights from partners and customers to inform product positioning, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategies. What you bring to the role: Diploma or degree within Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management, preferably within distribution or similar industry. Must possess a hunter mentality, being proactive, driven, and strategic in achieving goals, consistently seeking new opportunities, and effectively tackling challenges. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth. Strong experience with MS office suite. Ability to make significant contributions to processes and systems. Seasoned professional individual contributor who works independently. Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters. Will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity. Primarily travel within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), with up to 10% travel across North America. *This is not a complete listing of the job duties.
