As Operations Analyst, Investment Fund Development, you will be a key member of the team that will support the product development and management initiatives and deliverables. You will support the development and management of investment products, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and private funds. You will support the development and management of efficient, competitive investment funds and you will contribute to sound operational control across Desjardins Group. You will receive instructions from the individual acting as the operations leader for all of the investment funds for retail clients and work closely with the product team to implement product launches or changes. You are interested in expanding your knowledge of the investment market and investment funds in Canada through carrying out operational and regulatory activities as part of product development. Your attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks will be essential for this position. More specifically, you will be required to: Work closely with the investment fund development operations leader. Prepare regulatory documents, carry out activities related to the taxation of investment funds and actively help implement and maintain processes. Work on fund launch or fund change projects. Prepare fund fact sheets and help with prospectus renewals. Be responsible for investment fund information on the organization's websites and in external databases. Coordinate the production of monthly data sheets and agreements with external data and index providers. Assist with tax returns for India and Taiwan and other tax forms, as well as with opening and renewing accounts in varying countries. Be responsible for the accuracy of investment fund data in databases of external providers. Handle requests on key performance indicators (for example, sales, redemptions). Coordinate the preparation of content for annual and interim management reports, the publication of distribution estimates, and the monthly, quarterly and annual distributions. Be called on to conduct market intelligence activities based on the sector's needs and priorities.
