Job Description
So, what will your new role look like?
We’re hiring a Software Developer to build ShareGate’s newest Identity Migration feature—our biggest step into infrastructure migration. You’ll join early, working alongside senior technical leaders to shape this key product expansion and solve complex, high-impact problems. It’s a rare chance to influence a product trusted by thousands of IT professionals.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and sustainable software solutions that align with business and technical goals.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver valuable features from discovery to production.
Take full ownership of the systems and features you build, ensuring their reliability and performance throughout their lifecycle.
Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to uphold high quality standards and support continuous improvement.
Proactively suggest improvements, identify potential issues early, and influence team decisions without waiting for direction

What does the tech stack look like?
Work within a mature .NET (C#) codebase
Develop and maintain features for a WPF desktop front end
Leverage established tooling and CI/CD pipelines
Contribute to a codebase with strong existing engineering standards
What does your future team look like?
Join a brand-new team built around a principal developer and two staff developers, with three more devs joining this year. You’ll work closely with experienced developers and gain rare exposure to technical leadership. The team includes a dedicated product manager and designer. You'll report to a software development manager focused on supporting your growth and success.
What are the next challenges awaiting your team?
Build a secure, production-ready MVP and deliver it to select customers for early validation.
Iterate rapidly based on feedback to move toward a general availability release.
Help shape identity migration into a core part of ShareGate’s product offering.
Play a key role in solving technical challenges and laying the foundation for long-term success.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience delivering commercial products with strong customer adoption;
Strong background in developing and maintaining desktop or mobile apps using C#/.NET;
Deep expertise in WPF and solid understanding of dependency injection principles;
Familiarity with identity systems like Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, OneLogin, or LDAP;
Experience with Microsoft APIs such as Graph SDK, MSAL, SharePoint CSOM/REST;
Clear, proactive communicator who listens actively, takes ownership, and works transparently;
Autonomous, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in asynchronous environments.
