About Anyon Systems
Anyon Systems is a Canadian quantum computing company designing and manufacturing superconducting quantum computers. We bring together experts in quantum information, cryogenics, nanofabrication, hardware design, and software engineering to deliver practical quantum advantage.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background in nanofabrication and packaging of semiconducting or MEMS devices. In this role, you will lead complex hardware development projects spanning design, fabrication, packaging, and integration of quantum processor chips. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including quantum physicists, process engineers, and cryogenic hardware specialists—to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components that meet stringent performance and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end planning and execution of projects involving nanofabrication and device packaging.
Coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners, including foundries and packaging vendors.
Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
Track progress against plans, resolve blockers, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Lead regular technical and program reviews with teams in Montreal and Bromont.
Ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards relevant to quantum processor packaging.
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in nanofabrication, semiconductor, or MEMS device development.
Demonstrated experience with wafer-level processes, cleanroom operations, and advanced packaging techniques (e.g., wire bonding, flip-chip, underfill, wafer bonding).
Familiarity with process development, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Experience in quantum hardware is an asset but not required.
