Job Title: Senior Engineer - Combat Systems
Location: Halifax, NS
What you’ll be doing:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Maritime Combat Systems, applying deep domain knowledge to guide decision-making and resolve challenges
Provide technical oversight and leadership to a team of engineers engaged in system design, integration, and configuration management activities
Apply robust Systems Engineering principles and Systems Design Lifecycle Management processes across all stages of design and development
Identify and manage technical risks, resolve technical issues, and maintain configuration control of technical baselines and documents
Interface effectively with stakeholders including suppliers, production teams, detailed designers, and customers to support system integration and delivery
Your skills and experiences:
Registered Professional Engineer or actively working towards designation
Experience in Physical and Functional integration of Combat Systems within a naval environment
SME-level knowledge in Maritime Combat Systems within a complex integration project
Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and its application within naval programs

The Combat Systems team:
This is a high-impact role within a multi-national engineering team, offering a rare opportunity to contribute to a complex naval integration project at the forefront of maritime defence technology. Based in Canada, you will work in close collaboration with the Senior Engineering Manager of Combat Systems and interface daily with a wider team of over 40 engineers located in the UK.
Together, this integrated international team drives the technical development of the River Class Destroyer Combat System, combining domain expertise, innovation, and cross-border collaboration to deliver cutting-edge capability to our customer.
