Job Summary:
This Research Associate role will support the development of RMA’s new core billing system using the ZIM platform, which will integrate with Sage CRM and Sage Intacct. You will help build a modernized billing system that enhances business processes and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bridge data integration, backend development, and application logic to meet business needs.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements and support long-term system design, including UX/XI
Design and implement robust data models and system architecture using ZIM
Design and develop operational functionality required to support business operation requirements including user interfaces for the new core billing system
Implement and support modern identity and access management frameworks
Perform data validation and cleansing to maintain high data quality across integrated systems
Integrate ZIM applications with third-party systems, including Sage CRM and Sage Intacct
Design and develop analytical platform to oversee the business operations platform
Enhance business logic using the ZIM platform to support evolving organizational requirements
Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, performance, and security tests
Create system documentation for the newly created systems
Develop training materials for the new system
Train staff on the new system
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Visio, Entity Relationship modelling
Experience with requirements gathering, application documentation and component testing would be an advantage
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Education:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Priority will be given to an Internal Applicant who has taught any course for the University in three (3) different sessions in the past thirty-six (36) months, provided they meet the requirements for the position as outlined in the job posting.
