Facilities Services is responsible for stewardship of Simon Fraser University's lands and buildings on all three campuses; Burnaby, Vancouver and Surrey to support the faculty, staff and students in pursuit of excellence in their individual and institutional, academic teaching , research and community objectives. Campus Planning & Development is one of three units within SFU's Facilities services, with the Major Projects division responsible for planning, management and delivery of capital construction projects including new buildings and renovation projects.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator supports SFU’s Facilities Services team in delivering campus renewal and renovation projects on the Burnaby campus. This role offers hands-on experience in project coordination and construction administration, both in the office and in the field.

Qualifications
Diploma in Project Management or Trades Certification and three years of related experience in project management, space design, and renovation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Working knowledge of construction and project coordination principles.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Willingness to learn about building codes, safety regulations, and university procedures.
Comfort working with budgets, spreadsheets, and administrative project tasks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
