The Opportunity:
The Educator is a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse role that will be serving the community of Pearson Place in Hythe, Alberta. The
Educator
is
responsible for ensuring top resident care is priority, with a high level of focus in time management.
We are seeking candidates in
Part Time 0.6 FTE Days 22.5 hours per week

Friendly with a sense of humor and the utmost respect for all persons
Knowledge of supportive living services, assessment, and care planning
Identifies Care Partner learning needs and development requirements
Lead the team to ensure commitment is understood in achieving person directed services
Ensuring that care is provided in accordance with nursing best practices, our Well-Being Strategies, quality improvement guidelines, and regulations
Growing Clinical Mentor Care Partner skills to be effective advocates for the Residents in helping them achieve the highest practicable physical, mental, and spiritual well-being possible
Identifies health, safety or maintenance issues, and reports as required
Ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement and adherence to safe work practices
Provide impartial support and excellent relationship building skills to nurture, understand, and respect residents, families, visitors, and external Care Partners to ensure the vibrancy of our community
Liaising with Doctors, Pharmacists, Homecare Nurse, Manager, families, and any other people required to facilitate the highest care for the Resident
Attains and maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, provincial, and federal regulatory standards
Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from:
Must be a graduate of a recognized RN program
Registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body (CARNA)
Must hold valid certification in First Aid and CPR
Obtain prior to employment, a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
