Shifts Available:
Monday-Friday, Nights 11:00pm-7:00am (8 hours shift)
Saturday-Monday Nights 7:00pm-7:00am (12 hours shift)
Saturday-Monday Days 7:00am-7:00pm (12 hours shift)
Priority will be given to individuals with experience performing maintenance on industrial equipment. Previous experience being a Millwright, Millwright Apprentice, Machinist or Mechanic would be considered a strong asset.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of machinery to minimize down time
Perform regular maintenance on machinery as per PM program and record any abnormal conditions or failures
Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage on CMMS work order system
Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects, order parts and report parts usage and inventory levels
All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical troubleshooting, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, welding, fabrication, and other areas as needed
Must practice good communication skills with Maintenance Team Members, Production Supervisors and Management
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintain clear and concise documentation
To be a part of the performance review processes
Follow and aid in enforcing the safety rules and guidelines
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
Previous experience as a millwright (3+ years); manufacturing setting is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
A team player who constructively contributes to a positive environment and is able to work alone
Good interpersonal communication skills
Excellent technical skills, mechanical aptitude and ability
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Able to perform other tasks as assigned
