In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse, contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. Many of our products are stored outdoors requiring the successful applicant to be required to work in varying weather conditions, at times. Loading and unloading of materials occurs outdoors.Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and attention to detailReceive, count, and verify incoming materials from vendors and customer returnsLoad and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipmentMaintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepanciesEnsure proper storage and organization of materials within the warehouseCollaborate with team members to meet customer needs and maintain high service levelsAssist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environmentPerform regular cycle counts and participate in inventory auditsFollow all health and safety regulations and company proceduresOperate warehouse management software to process orders and update inventoryAssist with customer service at the counter as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an assetMinimum of 1 year of warehouse experienceExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and verbal communication skillsAbility to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipmentPhysical capability to lift and move heavy items regularlyBasic math skills and ability to perform accurate countsProficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse operationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloadsStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesCommitment to following safety procedures and guidelinesPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of infrastructure productsExperience with Trend, Eclipse, or similar warehouse management systemsForklift certification (training can be provided for the right candidate)Additional InformationSalary Range - $41,600 to $52,000 per year dependent on experience and performanceEMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment, and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
