Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx:
As the Director, Operational Solutions, you will play a key role in partnering
with Product, Visual Merchandising and Brand and Community teams, in bringing
content, programs and operational guidance to our Stores in a way which elevates
the Guest and Employee experience. You will act as a representative for our
Store teams and will advocate and provide feedback on their behalf to HQ
partners. Leading a team of Product, Operations, Brand and Community Program
Managers, you are accountable for defining in-store processes relating to
product, developing a clear product operations calendar, and leading the rollout
of large-scale initiatives that optimize product receiving, storage, restock,
replenishment and visual merchandising. You will partner with Area Directors to
ensure the adoption of principles and practices related to product operations
and the successful launch and execution of our peak holiday program. Your work
with Brand and Community Partners will elevate our Guest Experience to new
heights and bring further clarity to Retail Teams on how to best activate and
synchronize community initiatives with our seasonal product drops and
flow. Leveraging your expertise and listening to feedback from our Store Teams
and Retail Leaders, you will be engaged in continuous improvement process with
our HQ partners, with a goal of creating the optimal conditions for success for
our Stores.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid
remote work.

If you were the Director, Operational Solutions now, here are some of the
activities you would be doing:
- Partnering with Area Directors and Operational Solutions Managers on
development and successful rollout of our peak holiday program
- Partnering with Area Directors on agile retail interventions and in-market
support of store teams
- Elevating our approach to hype and energy drops, in a way which elevates the
brand and guest experience
- Leading development and rollout of BOH and FOH operations standards to
further improve and refine store product operations
- Leading development of seasonal kick-offs and product operations handbooks to
ground store teams on intention and impact of product drops, while building
stoke and excitement
- Partnering with Retail Training teams to deliver epic product knowledge
resources, aligned with our product operations calendar
Are you our next Director, Operational Solutions?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Business,
Operations or a related field
- You have 7+ years’ experience in retail operations and or project
management
- You have a strong background in retail operations, with a passion for problem
and a bias towards action
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to build
relationships across all levels of the organization
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are able to analyze data and generate meaningful reports
- You can multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage priorities working in a
fast-paced environment
- You have excellent project management skills
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best

$149,000 - $205,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$149,000 - CAD$205,000 at the time
of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such
as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper
end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated
expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly
transferable experience.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not
include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
