Key Responsibilities · Assist with all required reports and documentation as needed · Attend safety/toolbox meetings · Participate in drills, inspections, and all other site-related duties as assigned · Maintain standards of practice consistent with the provincial governing regulatory body · Comply with International SOS Policies and Procedures · Ensure that patients are managed in a professional and friendly manner · Ensure equipment and transport vehicles are ready 24/7 to undertake all medical retrieval services · Participate in emergency response services as required · Participate in ongoing continuing medical education provided by International SOS · Operate within boundaries of the provincial licences of the incumbent · Assist with the internal training program on site by preparing training sessions as requested · Any other duties that may be requested from time to time by management · Ensure International SOS and the client are represented in a professional manner · Participate in required drills/skills testing About You Must-haves (minimum requirements): • Work experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic/Firefighter • Fire Certifications(not limited to): NFPA 1001 Level 1 and 2 NFPA 1002 Level 1 and 2 NFPA 1006 Rope Rescue Or Equivalent to NFPA NFPA 1006 Confined Space Or Equivalent to NFPA NFPA 472 Hazmat • Exceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressure • Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record • Alignment with our values of expertise,passion,respect and care Preference for: • Experience in an industrial setting • A high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and procedures • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite • Collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value • Hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information: • You will work out of our camp-based client sites.
