YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior HRIS Specialist to join our team and provide
high-level functional support and business analysis for our HR and Payroll
systems. In this role, you’ll act as a bridge between business needs and
technical solutions, ensuring our HR systems are optimized to support daily
operations, reporting, and long-term transformation initiatives.
You’ll bring expertise in HR systems and data to help streamline processes,
ensure data integrity, support users, and deliver insights through reporting and
analytics. As a senior team member, you’ll also play a key role in mentoring
colleagues and leading the resolution of complex issues.
DAY TO DAY
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather and assess
system-related business needs.
- Analyze and optimize HR/Payroll processes through automation and improved
system functionality.
- Translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions in
collaboration with IT and vendors.
- Provide system-based reporting and analytics; ensure data accuracy and
integrity across HR platforms.
- Lead or support testing, implementation, upgrades, and training for HR
systems.
- Maintain system security, user roles, and data access protocols.
- Research HR technology trends and provide recommendations on improvements and
best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex system issues and
troubleshooting.
- Support data activities such as mass uploads, salary adjustments, and
onboarding at scale.
- Collaborate with global/local system partners to manage integrations and
interdependencies (e.g., ServiceNow, Payroll vendors).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related
field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting and maintaining corporate HR systems (e.g.,
SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce).
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS functionalities, reporting tools, and database
fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for system
efficiencies.
- Experience leading system testing, upgrades, and end-user training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge
technical and functional teams.
- Experience coaching or mentoring team members is an asset.
