Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations and Capital Raising
- Lead Investor Engagement: Act as the primary contact for high-net-worth
investors, delivering updates on project performance and market trends to
build trust.
- Drive Fundraising: Create pitch decks and investor reports to secure debt and
equity financing for transformative developments.
- Foster Relationships: Cultivate partnerships with investors and joint-venture
partners, aligning with JD’s sustainable vision.
- Support Due Diligence: Coordinate investor inquiries and due diligence to
ensure efficient capital-raising.

- Underwrite Financing: Analyze CMHC and conventional debt and equity
investments, assessing budgets and market data.
- Monitor Risks: Track portfolio risks and performance to safeguard investor
returns.
- Align Reporting: Collaborate with asset management to integrate performance
metrics into investor reports.

Qualifications & Skills
We seek a driven professional to join JD Development Group’s mission of
redefining urban living. Candidates should possess:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related
field. Progress toward MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in real estate finance, investor relations, private
equity, or investment banking; underwriting exposure is advantageous.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., DCF models) and
PowerPoint; familiarity with loan documents or regulatory frameworks (e.g.,
OSC, REIT compliance) is a plus.
- Professional Attributes: Superior communication, strong analytical skills,
and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CMHC financing, Ontario real estate
regulations, or ESG-linked investments; connections with Canadian investors
or lenders.
