Analyst to our expanding team.

About the Role
As our dynamic and proactive Privacy & Compliance Analyst, you'll be
instrumental in supporting our Risk & Compliance (R&C) initiatives, ensuring our
operations align with privacy laws and industry standards. You'll work closely
with various teams, providing guidance, managing projects, and facilitating risk
processes to support our growth and scalability.
This is an in-person position based in our Sherwood Park, Alberta office.

In this role, you'll be expected to:
- Manage and oversee privacy and compliance projects, ensuring timely delivery
and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct research on privacy laws and industry standards to inform policy
development and operational procedures.
- Review and support R&C tickets, providing timely resolutions and guidance to
team members.
- Assess and improve operational procedures, identifying areas for enhancement
and implementing best practices.
- Liaise with auditors, clients, and stakeholders to address privacy and
compliance inquiries.
- Facilitate risk processes, including conducting risk assessments and drafting
internal and external communications.
- Provide training and support to team members on R&C topics, fostering a
culture of compliance and awareness.
- Maintain a pulse on organizational activities, ensuring proactive
identification and mitigation of potential risks.

Qualifications we are looking for:
- Postgraduate education in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other relevant platforms.
- Strong understanding of Canadian privacy laws and regulations.
- Experience in providing training and developing policy documents related to
privacy and compliance.
- Project management experience; PMP certification is a strong asset but not
required.
- Bonus points if you have a CIPP/C, CIPM, or other relevant privacy/security
certifications

$60,000 - $80,000 a year
Salary ranges are based on experience, reflecting the unique skillset each
individual brings to the role.
