The Project Manager is responsible for managing after closing of the major electrical assembly projects in the region by meeting customer expectations and timelines for product, documentation, and quality. The goal is to create value and establish the process as a key differentiator from our competitors. The Project Manager also will mentor the project team of Project Coordinators (technical and transactional) in the project order process. You'll have the freedom to ensure customer commitments are met while guiding sales representatives and project teams. You'll manage large-scale projects, setting clear expectations and documenting major milestones post-contract. Your role involves understanding customer needs, factory capabilities, and ensuring seamless communication of order acknowledgements. With the assigned projects, you'll manage all aspects of relationships with contractors, industrials, distributors, consulting engineers, and OEMs. Financial management will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will review terms and conditions with sales, verify pricing, and reconcile bills of material, ensuring everything aligns perfectly. On the technical side, you will delve into complete plans and specifications, ensuring every detail is reviewed and managed effectively. Proficiency in AutoCAD for Power Engineered Products will be beneficial, along with a PMP certification. We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team. University degree or college diploma equivalent in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical, mechanical or mechatronics. Minimum 5 years of Project Management or Sales experience in Electrical industry, working with electrical products and assemblies. Must possess a valid driver's license. Technical background in industrial and/or construction products. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Candidates must reside within 80km of Delta, BC. Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Technical Professional Designation (P.Eng., CET, C.Tech). Proficiency in French language will be an asset.
