Your tasks at a glance
- You answer questions from surgeons and patients regarding intraocular
procedures.
- You maintain tracking sheets and monthly statistical reports.
- You receive and process approval of cataract surgery by medical directors.
- You identify and solve problems as they arise.
- You plan, organize, and schedule patients for surgery days.
- You are comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- You are detail-oriented and work with precision and accuracy.
- You will be cross-trained for the Surgical Assistant position (once you have
completed your initial training).

- You have experience in the healthcare field (an asset).
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
- You especially thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and when you work
as part of a team.
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge
of EMR systems is an asset).
- You are organized, self-disciplined, and have excellent prioritization, time
management, and problem-solving skills.
- You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français
également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature
of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).
- Schedule: You have flexible availability Monday through Friday
(8:30am-4:30pm).
