As a Production Quality Team Leader, your main duty is to perform and manage
quality control operations of production areas while leading and developing a
strong production quality team.

The Manufacturing Quality Control team ensures that all product manufactured at
ARC’One meets the quality standards and expectations of Arc’teryx. Our core duty
is to ensure a positive customer experience and uphold the integrity of the
brand.

If you were our Manufacturing Production Quality Team Leader, here are some of
the core activities you would be doing:
- You lead and motivate the team, including but not limited to, providing
coaching, training, communicating objectives, and planning efficient
distribution of work with an open and positive culture
- You ensure that Quality Control Inspectors have the proper training,
information, and equipment
- You collaborate with Production to manage the prioritization and workflow of
the production quality control areas
- You are the first point of contact for production quality issues and make
assessment of product acceptability
- You support Quality Control Inspectors to resolve difficult quality issues in
production lines
- You coordinate rejected AQL lots and perform documentation of CAPA plans
- You drive root cause analysis of quality defects with production teams
- You monitor line performance to drive prioritization of quality improvement
in production lines
- You drive continuous improvement of quality control processes and engage with
production teams to drive quality improvements
- You collaborate with Quality Control Supervisor to provide performance
feedback
- You manage time, attendance, and vacation for production quality control
inspectors
- You are able to perform quality control inspection and backfill as needed
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Create and enable access to standardized reference documents
- Create standardized work instructions
- Develop processes for people scheduling and workflow visibility
- Coach, mentor and develop new & existing team members
- Partner with AQL on alignment and shared knowledge
- Support Quality process mapping initiatives
- Analyze system related data to visualize and prioritize critical-to-quality
areas.
Are you our next Manufacturing Production Quality Team Leader?
- You have 2+ years of experience in the apparel factory environment
- You have knowledge of garment industry best practices
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have intermediate computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- You have high attention to details
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You have the ability to work well independently and efficiently without
direct supervision and to work effectively as a team
- You have excellent organizational skills and flexibility
- You are excited by knowledge transfer and training
- You have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult
situation with tact and professionalism
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing
solutions
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an
unwavering commitment
- You have basic knowledge of a spoken second language (asset)
- You have knowledge of Arc’teryx’s unique products (asset)
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside
and living it (asset)
- You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and have the ability to remain
adaptable, flexible and calm while receiving and giving feedback

- You arrange the day to day work, guide and review the work completed and
mentor and share knowledge with the QC Inspectors in the assigned production
lines

$55,200 - $69,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$55,200 - CAD$69,000 at the time of
this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as
job-related skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not
include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
