Now, we’re looking for a Controller to lead accounting operations across our Canadian sites. This role isn’t just about crunching numbers — it’s about building a high-performing team, scaling systems, and being a strategic partner in our continued growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with Canadian GAAP
Maintain and evolve internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets
Act as the key liaison for external audits, preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Collaborate with external tax advisors on compliance and tax provision calculations
Support federal and provincial tax planning, reporting, and filings
Work cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, and IT to build efficient, scalable processes
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
Provide actionable financial insights to operational leaders to drive decision-making and margin improvements
Support M&A activities from a financial standpoint, including integration and purchase accounting
What You Bring
CPA designation (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in leadership
Minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience, including implementation of standard costing
Deep understanding of Canadian GAAP and external audit processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in financial systems (ERP, reporting tools, Excel)
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
