The external warehousing supervisor actively contributes to the achievement of the group's objectives by collaborating and coordinating in the management of our 3PL partners in Canada. He is the main contact for all the sites under his responsibility. He controls inventory losses to achieve budgetary objectives. What’s involved in this role: More specifically, the External Warehousing Supervisor's responsibilities are as follows: Coordinate operations with our warehousing partners and Agropur’s internal teams. Lead weekly operational meetings with warehouse partners, review key performance indicators (KPIs) with them, implement action plans and perform root cause analyses when necessary. Be the primary contact with external warehousing partners across Canada. Occasionally visits sites and provides training when needed. Work closely with planning, inventory and transportation teams. Ensures that warehouses comply with the quality requirements set by Agropur. Manage the external warehousing emails and emergency calls. Be available 1 week out of 2 to answer calls and emails in the evening and on weekends. Participate and implement various cost out and optimization warehousing projects. Conducts necessary research to explain month-end inventory discrepancies. Build, document and update work processes. Performs any other tasks related to the position. What you need to join our team: Bachelor’s degree in operations management or another relevant field. 3-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in warehousing. Ability to manage priorities and an excellent work methodology. Knowledge of SAP and ORACLE are an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
