Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our Client's dynamic HR team for a 3 week plus contract in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a solid understanding of human resources management practices.
Responsibilities
Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Manage data collection and maintain accurate employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Manage attendance management system for inputs, accuracy and recording of leaves, absences and vacations
Utilize HR software such as Kronos, UltiPro to streamline HR operations.
Provide administrative support to the HR team by preparing reports, maintaining files, and responding to employee inquiries.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years proven experience in human resources
Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Kronos, UltiPro, is a plus.
Strong data collection and analytical skills to support decision-making processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of change management principles is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
