Safely operate a crane while maintaining communication with the ground crew for safe and efficient rigging and unrigging Ability to perform pre-operational inspections including Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA), calculating cranes' capabilities and weight to ensure you have the proper equipment for rigging and hoisting. Understanding the crane's load chart, notes and warnings and being able to calculate or determine the crane's actual net capacity for all possible configurations of the machine. Competent in completing all necessary pre-job paperwork as well as log book following the completion of the job What You Bring. Minimum 3 years of experience operating a crane A Tickets, B Tickets or Journeymen Red Seal Tower Crane Certification Must hold a valid class one driver's license Must understand the functions and limitations of the crane Have the ability to problem solve and handle high-stress situations in a professional manner Oversee the crane's general condition and notify management when maintenance is required Staying alert and maintaining a high level of concentration Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards Represent the company, resolve customer concerns, and keeping a positive attitude Mechanical ability to make minor repairs when necessary Salary Range: $52.1600 to $56.0000 CAD About The Company: Onni For over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
