We’re looking for a highly strategic, socially fluent, and culture-focused
Director of Strategy to co-lead digital & content strategies across a diverse
portfolio of brands within our growing Social & Content (S&C) team.
They’ll be a strategic lead across client accounts, overseeing the development
of culturally relevant and insight-driven, social-first strategies that drive
real business impact. They will play a key leadership role within the
team—coaching junior talent, contributing to thought leadership, and helping to
scale best-in-class work across verticals including tech, healthcare, lifestyle,
brand and corporate.
Core Responsibilities
The Individual – Strategic Excellence
· Lead strategy development across multiple accounts, from end-to-end, campaigns
and executive thought leadership strategies, ensuring high-quality thinking and
execution.
· Apply your skills across multiple sectors (beyond FMCG/CPG/D2C) with a growing
focus on tech, healthcare, and corporate brands.
· Develop insight-driven, channel-smart, social-first strategies that deliver
business results—blending cultural intelligence with platform fluency.
· Author and publish at least two thought leadership pieces per year on emerging
trends, client challenges, or provocative industry perspectives.
The Team – Leadership & Mentorship
· Act as second-in-command to the VP of Strategy, helping to manage team
resourcing, workload balance, and operational health.
· Mentor one junior or mid-level strategist or community manager each fiscal
year to foster their professional growth.
· Support internal operations, including weekly resource planning, identifying
stress points, and contributing to recruitment decisions.
· Model team-first behaviour, cultivating a collaborative, empathetic, and
inclusive culture that prioritizes shared wins.
The Business – Growth & Innovation
· Drive growth by identifying and converting new business
opportunities—contributing to new business and internal digital growth
priorities.
· Strengthen client relationships by consistently bringing strategic insight
that builds trust and unlocks long-term value.
· Partner with client leads to grow the S&C portfolio, organically & new
business pitching
· Help scale our Agile model by delivering three or more Agile Content Pieces
per quarter that reflect innovation, speed, and relevance.
· Be a positive driver and leader in AI adoption

Key Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of strategy experience in social, content, or digital roles—agency
experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead multi-platform strategy for large-scale clients with
diverse needs.
- Strong social-first storytelling and presentation skills—able to clearly
communicate strategy to both clients and internal teams (visually and
verbally).
- High-level problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making ability
across complex business challenges.
- Deep knowledge of digital and social media platforms, emerging technologies,
and cultural trends.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior talent and contributing to a strong
team culture.
- A builder’s mindset—entrepreneurial, proactive, and ready to elevate S&C’s
role within the wider business.
- A commitment to inclusive thinking and diverse perspectives in creative and
strategic development.
- Have a passion with a medium to high capability for AI usage that can be used
to find efficiencies, drive innovation and provide on-the-job upskilling for
peers and clients
- Digital strategy from user journey mapping and ecosystem development is an
advantage
