The Shipping Supervisor plans, directs, and controls the center’s activities to ensure the timely and stable distribution of dairy products to distribution agents and various distribution centers. What’s involved in this role Enforcing and ensuring compliance with company procedures and methods regarding health and safety, as well as collective agreement provisions; Managing staff activities to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction, while achieving the quantitative and qualitative goals of the operations action plan; Overseeing operations efficiently by analyzing established performance indicators; Controlling goods reception, inventory management and adjustments, cooler waste, product expiration, FIFO, etc.; Analyzing and resolving work-related issues or assisting employees in solving problems; Promoting a positive work environment by continuously improving engagement and teamwork. What you need to join our team Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; General knowledge of logistics and transportation. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English (English is required for collaboration with colleagues in other Canadian provinces). We dairy you!
