About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Excellence, the Senior Engineer
Supervisor, Maintenance is responsible for all aspects of project management
involved in delivering a portfolio of safe and environmentally responsible
projects on time and on budget. The Senior Engineer Supervisor will lead a
multidisciplinary team responsible for site project delivery through project
stages and gates from pre-scoping through to closeout.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong leadership,
organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a
demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to plan capital projects.
Experience working on large projects, leading multiple internal resources,
external contractors and consultants is an asset.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Define and track project scope, goals, and scheduled deliverables, along with
identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path, while
providing insight to senior management on progress and risks
- Install and adapt project processes including stage gate, management of
change, operational readiness, project charters, commercial processes, and
contractor supervision are effectively applied at a level applicable to the
specific project
- Aid in the planning, organizing, securing, and managing of resources for the
effective and efficient completion of projects
- Coordinate and steward deliverables, including permitting and engineering
work products
- Lead, train, coach, and mentor a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; P. Eng is required
- Minimum of ten years of work experience with a minimum of three years direct
work experience in a project management capacity, including aspects of
engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction; experience in a heavy
industrial sector is required
- Eligible for, or working towards, registration with the Engineers and
Geoscientists of British Columbia
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite®: Word, Outlook, and Excel

$137,000 - $170,000 a year

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s
relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
