We are currently looking for Host to join our well-known restaurants.
The Job
Responsible for greeting guests and escorting them to the dining and bar areas
Welcome guests to the venue and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure
Take names for the waiting list, provide accurate wait times, and manage reservations
Answer incoming calls and respond to queries regarding the menu and restaurant
Greet and seat guests, present menus, communicate menu items, promote dishes, and inform them of specials
Observe tables to track which are clean, dirty, or occupied
Ensure thorough knowledge of menu items (food and beverages), including allergies, side dishes, and daily specials
Maintain a climate of friendly cooperation and ensure guest satisfaction
Promote positive social media reviews (e.g., TripAdvisor, Google, Instagram)
Maintain a clean reception area; sweep foyer and front entrance frequently
Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g., deep cleaning of assigned areas per schedule)
Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host area
Participate in Training and Development programs offered by the organization
Perform additional ad hoc duties as directed by the Head of Department
Carry out other duties as the Employer may assign during the term of the agreement
Job Requirements
2 years of working experience in high-end restaurants
Good understanding of how the role contributes to the success of the restaurant
Willingness to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays
Verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of any other European language is an asset
Ability to conform to grooming standards
Good time management skills
Strong leadership abilities
