Marketing & Promotions Assistant - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.
Eligible Students
•Domestic Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
•International Students at Fanshawe College must be registered as a full-time student, and have a valid study permit and Social Insurance Number
•Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.

Summary
The Marketing & Promotions Assistant (Work Study) supports the FSU’s marketing and engagement efforts through on-campus promotions, social media content support, and poster board maintenance. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, creative student interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and student engagement.
This is a Work Study position open to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program.
Job Duties
Maintain and update poster boards across campus weekly, ensuring compliance with FSU policies.
Remove outdated materials and display current marketing content.
Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for FSU social media platforms.
Monitor trends and contribute to the development of creative campaigns.
Support on-campus promotional activities, including setting up and managing promotional tables.
Participate in Communication initiatives to promote FSU events and services.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to brainstorm and implement student engagement strategies.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on marketing needs and student interests.
Requirements
Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.
Enrolled in a marketing-related program (preference for students continuing through April 2027).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interest or experience in marketing, social media, or promotions.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable and dependable with a commitment to scheduled shifts and deadlines.
Access to a vehicle for occasional inter-campus travel is an asset.
