Videographer/Producer - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.

*International Student must have a valid Work permit.

Summary
The Videographer (Work Study) is responsible for filming, editing, and producing a variety of video content to support the FSU’s promotional and communication efforts. This includes creating videos for the website, social media, and community events, as well as collaborating with Communication Assistants on news stories. The role involves scriptwriting, video production, and post-production editing, and is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented student with a passion for storytelling through video.
This is a Work Study position open to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program.
Job Duties
Script, film, and edit promotional and informational videos for FSU platforms.
Collaborate with communication staff to produce video content for news stories.
Capture footage at campus events and community activities.
Edit and produce videos for use on the FSU website and social media channels.
Download, organize, and archive video content for future use.
Ensure all video content aligns with FSU branding and quality standards.
Maintain video equipment and report any technical issues.
Work independently to meet production deadlines.
Assist with other multimedia or communications tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.
Experience with video camera operation, editing software, and scriptwriting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Punctual, responsible, and task-oriented.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Having access to personal video equipment is an asset.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
