FSU Student Office Clerk (Work Study) - Student Work Study job opportunities open to full-time Fanshawe College students who qualify for the Work Study Bursary program.
This opportunity is supported through The Work Study Employment Program, which is designed to provide work opportunities to Fanshawe College full-time post-secondary or post diploma students with a demonstrated financial need.

•Students at Fanshawe College must be a full-time registered student, and meet financial needs assessment criteria
*International Student must have a valid Work permit.
•Must be in good academic standing according to program requirements.

Summary
The FSU Student Office Clerk (Work Study) supports the daily operations of the Student Engagement and Student Experience departments through administrative and front-desk responsibilities. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented student who enjoys working in a student-centered environment and is looking to gain experience in office administration and coordination.
Working hours are Monday – Friday, up to 20 hour week, occasional evening and weekends as required.
This is a part-time Work Study position open to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program.
Job Duties
Greet students and visitors, providing general information and support.
Monitor and respond to emails or direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date records.
Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and administrative documents.
Support the Class Representative program through communication, tracking, and coordination.
Assist with planning and executing student events and engagement initiatives.
Distribute promotional materials and information to students.
Schedule meetings, book rooms, and prepare materials for departmental use.
Collaborate with team members on administrative projects and provide general office support.
Requirements
Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.
Enrolled in Business, Executive Administration, Communications, or a related program preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
