Role Overview: We’re looking for an Autobody Repair Technician to join our client's team. Inthis role, you’ll perform body, frame, and mechanical repairs to ensure all vehicles arerestored to manufacturer standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced collision centreenvironment, guiding apprentices, maintaining shop efficiency, and contributing to aculture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Perform repairs that result in invisible restoration and meet OE specificationsMaintain a repair vs. replace metric of 70% month-over-month and quarter-over-quarterEnsure all broken parts are documented in the initial Repair PlanWork with the Repair Planner to disassemble a drivable vehicle within 30 minutesfor reviewAct as a coach and role model for apprentices in the shop• Follow and complete Quality Control documentation accuratelyInspect Repair Plans for accuracy and completenessPre-fit all parts before final repairsReplace all parts listed on the Job Worksheet and repair all panels as requiredOperate tools and equipment safely at all timesEnsure all vehicles on the frame machine are properly secured for safety and efficiencyEmbrace a “parts off the car” mindset for maximum productivitySupport shop throughput, quality standards, and profitability goalsShare knowledge and mentor junior team membersComplete work in body, frame, mechanical, and electrical repair categoriesMaintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards What You Offer: 2+ years of automotive body repair experienceRed Seal/Journeyperson certificationAt least five years as an “A Tech” level technicianFive years of frame pull experienceExcellent communication and collaboration skillsHigh attention to detail and quality workmanshipValid Driver’s LicenseCommitment to safety and continuous learning Skills & Training Provided: Proprietary Repair ProcessProprietary Repair Planning SystemsOEM certification courses and equivalency trainingI-Car trainingCompensation: This position offers an hourly wage of $27 – $30, plus a $10,000 annual bonus paidquarterly.
