You are joining the Carbonite Switchers team, where we develop the industry-leading Carbonite product switchers and TouchDrive control panels. We develop new switcher products every single day while ensuring our products operate reliably, deliver new functionality and continue to transform live productions. Our production switchers can be found transforming the way live video productions are created, driving innovation in all markets where video production is needed.

What the job is all about:
Work with a team of PV specialists to validate Switcher product releases
Strive to improve PV processes to achieve the greatest efficiency
Ensure PV quality and standards are adhered to
Work with the TPM, POM and product primes to develop and share the PV schedule and expectations to managers, team members and peers
Design, write and execute test cases, file bugs, and dive deep to understand defect behaviour
Report on project and PV status to leadership
Contribute to the test automation strategy
Assist in lab resource planning and coordination
Collaborate with the team to diagnose escalated customer/field issues
Other duties as required
Who you are:
4+ years in a PV role
Experience with PV tools, test planning, estimation and reporting
Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
Excellent product knowledge of Ross products, their configuration and operation
Knowledge of broadcast video and audio standards and technology
Knowledge of different customer workflows
Basic Windows and Linux skills.
Bash scripting an asset
Understanding of test automation methodologies is an asset
