AULT a company of Alta Equipment Group, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Supervisor for our Waterloo, QC branch. The main responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
Summary of responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics
Supervise and direct warehouse staff, and put worker safety as a top priority
Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products
Confirm proper and timely delivery of products
Perform various inventory counts, order supplies and goods as required
Supervise all forklift operations
Maintain the warehouse and machinery, ensuring that equipment is repaired when necessary and that the workspace is always clean and tidy
Help the team on a daily basis.
Maintain shipping documents, manifests and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as required
Ensure that shipped materials match packing lists before shipping orders
Assist in the hiring and training of new warehouse employees
Ensure proper transportation, packaging and placement of products
Motivate and lead warehouse staff to perform assigned tasks effectively
Respect and ensure compliance with company rules, laws and regulations
Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning to create a more efficient execution system
Skills required
Bilingualism French-English, written and spoken (mandatory) – The person will need to communicate with colleagues located in English-speaking and French-speaking provinces.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
Minimum 1 year in personnel management
Proficiency in Office Suite
Certified to operate a forklift truck (mandatory)
Good interpersonal skills
Demonstrate leadership skills
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to multi-task
