RAM is a project delivery firm specializing in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. RAM is searching for a motivated and experienced individual in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise on municipal infrastructure, transmission and distribution, and land development projects as Engineer of Record.
Provide leadership to the project team in the delivery of civil engineering solutions.
Interface with clients on project requirements.
Complete field reviews and assessments as necessary.
Lead or Support in the preparation and creation of detailed civil designs, report, construction packages and estimates.
Mentor Junior Civil Engineers-in-Training for their professional development.
Support development of proposals and project pursuits.
Participate as a member of multi-disciplinary projects and provide technical civil engineering support.
Complete technical reviews of civil engineering design packages and provide sign and seal for IFC packages.
Perform analysis using software such as Civil3D, HEC-RAS, Hy-8, PCSWMM.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
A Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience as a P.Eng. in infrastructure or transportation projects.
Registered as a P. Eng. with EGBC and/or APEGA.
Experience in stormwater design preferred, hydraulic modelling experience is an asset.
Strong technical writing skills.
Strong public speaking skills, project coordination skills and a team player.
