RAM is a project delivery firm specializing in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. RAM is searching for a motivated and experienced individual in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight across all phases of project delivery, ensuring alignment with PMI principles and client-specific processes.
Coordinate and facilitate effective communication among multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Construction, Safety, Environmental, and Community Relations.
Manage all project correspondence, permitting, and regulatory approvals, and act as the principal liaison with the client.
Monitor and report on project performance, identifying and addressing risks proactively.
Lead the development and implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS) tailored to the client’s needs to standardize project documentation, workflows, and procedures.
Continuously assess and improve internal systems and processes to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Contribute to the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and proposals, in collaboration with internal teams.
Mentor and develop junior Project Managers, supporting their professional growth.
Provide input into team training needs, performance management, and succession planning.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years of consulting or public sector experience;
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or Building Diploma is considered an asset;
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC, or Registered Applied Science Technologist (AScT) with ASTTBC considered an asset;
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation with the Project Management Institute (PMI) considered an asset;
Experience with complex construction values over $10M;
The MMCD Certified Contract Administrator (MMCD CCA) designation is considered an asset;
Adept knowledge of applied design and construction methods;
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills with project stakeholders, the public, clients, regulatory agencies and consultants/contractors;
Excellent report and proposal writing skills; and
Experience assembling, managing and delivering construction contracts.
