The Position:
Neelands is searching for Engineering Technician (12 Month Contract) reporting to our Engineering Manager in our Burlington, Ontario office. The Engineering Technician will provide deliverables to the various departments.
Responsibilities:
Prepare AutoCAD drawings in support of engineering management deliverables
Create/modify refrigeration schedules
Refrigeration Calculations
Work with project managers to prepare project estimates
Prepare as-builts/close out documents
Manage bid requests and timelines
Maintain up-to-date technical library
Qualifications:
College diploma
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Ability to effectively liaise with project managers, contractors and vendors
The ability to ensure compliance with all standards and specifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Well organized, able to multi-task, and have strong problem-solving capabilities
Valid Ontario driver’s license
