Room Division Manager

We currently have an opportunity for an energetic, service-oriented leader to join our team in the lower mainland. Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of operating the hotel with a focus on housekeeping and front desk, including training, and leading the team to ensure superior guest and associate satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3-4 years Hotel Front Office Manager, Sales or Rooms Division Management experience.
Experience in Front Office Operations and Housekeeping required.
Diploma or Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management would be an asset.
'Hands-on' Management style.
Proven track record of implementing company policies, new initiatives, establishing SOP's.
Keen eye for cleanliness and attention to details.
Operations: experience in budget preparations, sales goals, forecasting, upsell techniques, cost management, labor costs, scheduling, payroll.
Staffing: recruit, hire, train and development of others, conduct regular staff meetings, communicate with all departments, ensuring that all goals are known to the entire team and review performances to ensure the employees are of the highest quality.
Monitors and assesses service and satisfaction trends and evaluates and addresses issues, systems and procedures to make improvements.
Great motivator.
Ensure all company policies are being implemented.
Highly organized, goal and results oriented person.
Applicants must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle everyday situations quickly and effectively.
Must have excellent attitude with a positive influence on others.
Applicants must be empathetic to the thoughts, comments and needs of guests, clients and staff.

Able to relocate within Canada if required.
