As an Agile Coach in the Agile and Lean Project Support Department, you act as a specialist and resource person for various delivery methods. You design and implement skills development and process improvement initiatives. You oversee the application of best practices and ensure the overall objective is consistent for projects involving multiple teams. You facilitate cohesive adoption of work methods and behaviours across teams and the organization. You may be asked to coach professionals in your unit or in other sectors who are working on agile projects. More specifically, you will be required to: Help teams implement agile, waterfall and lean approaches Meet the various stakeholders to help them absorb, deploy and implement agile principles Recognize their fears, challenges and concerns and provide the support they need Develop and implement skills development and process improvement initiatives for all delivery methods (agile, hybrid and waterfall) Oversee the application of best practices and ensure the overall objective is consistent for very large projects Coach professionals in your unit and other sectors Identify training needs and make recommendations Analyze clients’ initial environments and make recommendations and provide support when launching projects or turning them around in order to meet their business needs Maintain an overview of clients’ current and future environments to seize opportunities for improvement Ensure practices, procedures, methodologies and tools are used effectively Participate in various project committees to train members and support their development Identify training needs and make recommendations.
