Position Summary
Tacten is currently recruiting for a IRATA Rope Access Journeyperson Electrician to support our client site, CNRL Albian, in Fort McMurray, AB.

Long-term Maintenance Project
14/14 rotation at 11.5hrs./day
Fly-in/fly-out from local city hubs (Calgary or Edmonton only!)
Responsibilities
Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
Position Requirements
Journeyman Electrician Certification Required
IRATA Level 1 required. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.
Industrial and EHT experience required
Local to Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Calgary or surrounding areas.
Safety Certifications
CSTS-09 or OSSA BSO or ESC CSO
