About your next Challenge as a Specialist, Software Engineering:
What will you do:
Responsible for software installation, integration and testing on Power Plant Simulator projects;
Help resolve complex and challenging problems arising during the various phases of development, integration and testing of Power Plant Simulator;
Responsible for the software configuration, installation and support of all test sites located in-house or at customer sites;
Preparation of software installation and maintenance documentation;
Occasional travel
Required Skills and Experiences:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Software) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
MS Office (including Access), VBScript, SQL, Visual Studio, C++, Fortran, Groovy, experience with various OS (Windows, Linux) and virtualization engine (Hyper-V)
Ability to work independently on multiple projects on tasks requiring judgement and initiative
Strong communication with contacts within and outside own team
Complex problem solving and ability to improve systems
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
