What you’ll do You will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating and adapting occupational therapy services to meet the specific needs of assigned pediatric clients, most of them being on the autism spectrum. You will work in a collaborative and well-equipped setting designed to help both clients and clinicians grow. How you will make an impact: You will conduct comprehensive assessments of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, emotional self-regulation, play, and activities of daily living; You will deliver individualized, goal-oriented intervention in 1:1 and small-group formats; You will document all services in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards; You will collaborate with Behaviour Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Psychologists as required to align plans, goals, and progress for a holistic approach to care; You will attend team meetings and multidisciplinary consultations; You will maintain scheduling targets; You will contribute to clinic programming and group therapy opportunities. What You Bring You hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy; You are in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO); You have at least one year of pediatric experience, including with children on the autism spectrum; You are available to work two weekdays (10am to 6pm) AND Saturdays (9am to 5pm); You are confident working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic clinic setting; You have experience in private practice or multidisciplinary clinic environments; Training in sensory integration, emotional self-regulation, or pediatric feeding is considered an asset.
