Location: Within one hour of the plant site (transportation provided from Whitecourt, Edson, and Fox Creek, Alberta)

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Sour Gas Plant Operator to join our Valued Client’s team in a first-class steam sour gas plant. This is a permanent, full-time position ideally suited to an individual committed to operational excellence, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor sour gas processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment.
Record and analyze operational data, adjusting plant operations as needed to meet production requirements.
Collaborate with maintenance teams and supervisors to address operational issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (3rd Class preferred).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sour gas plant operations.
Strong knowledge of steam plant operations and safety procedures.
Must reside within one hour of the plant location or be willing to relocate (transportation provided from Whitecourt, Edson, and Fox Creek).
Preferred Qualifications:
3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate.
Previous experience working with sulphur recovery processes.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Industrial sour gas plant setting with exposure to high-pressure systems and hazardous materials.
PPE and safety training provided.
Transportation provided from designated pick-up locations.
