Science North is home to Northern Ontario’s only IMAX theatre, and we are looking for dynamic individuals to support theatre operations and its adjacent concessions stand, Coca-Cola Corner. As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our visitors. Excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for engaging with the public are essential in this fast-paced, visitor-focused role. Available to start now? Immediate start dates offered for individuals with daytime, weekday availability. In This Role, You Will: Host IMAX showings and greet visitors as they enter and exit the theatre Ensure IMAX glasses are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use Support sales and light food preparation (popcorn, pizza, sandwiches, grab’n’go snacks, beverages) Ensure timely replenishment of supplies and products Cross selling Science North attractions and efficiently process payments Provide an outstanding experience to visitors What You Bring: Excellent customer service skills Enjoy working with the public in a visitor focused environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and positively Science North provides services in both official languages with some positions requiring fluency in French First Aid and Smart Serve Certifications required upon start Compensation Details: $18.45 per hour Part-time and full-time positions available Variable hours schedule Employment Assistance Program Professional development opportunities Free or discounted admission to partner attractions outside Sudbury, Science North facilities and program discounts Don’t meet every single requirement?
