What You’ll Be Doing:
Financial Reporting & Oversight
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP/ASPE
Oversee consolidated reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting inputs
Period-End Close & Audit Management
Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end closing processes
Prepare for and manage interim and year-end external audits
Support Audit Committee and Board reporting preparation
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow
Collaborate on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
Monitor cash flow and working capital trends, offering actionable insights
Compliance & Internal Controls
Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal accounting policies
Develop and maintain a strong internal control framework
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing accounting team
Foster professional development, accountability, and cross-training
Systems & Process Optimization
Drive improvements across ERP/accounting systems
Streamline processes including inventory, AP, and procurement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with HR, IT, and Operations to align financial strategies
Advise on accounting standards, policy updates, and disclosures
Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Insights
Deliver timely analysis and insights to senior leadership
Identify opportunities for efficiencies and financial transparency
What You Bring to the Table:
CPA designation required
5+ years of experience in financial reporting, audit, and period-end close
Solid technical knowledge of GAAP/ASPE
Multi-site operational experience is a must
Proven leadership experience with direct reports
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Advanced Excel proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passion for driving process improvements and leveraging technology
