Pulp Division Business Excellence Lead

We are currently recruiting for: Pulp Division Business Excellence Lead – Permanent – Full-time
Role Overview
This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The role involves engagement with the Senior Leadership Team, and functional leaders throughout the business, across all geographies and is critical for seamless communication, reporting and decision making.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage initiatives and priorities in collaboration with SLT through the Pulp Mills in Canada and Sweden, ensuring alignment with Aditya Birla’s organizational goals.
Business review of Pulp plants and forestry operations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Monitor daily production and quality metrics, identifying and reporting any deviations to management.
Provide Support to COO through the preparation of comprehensive reports, presentations and essential documents.
Qualifications
University degree in Business Administration, or an acceptable combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
5 years of direct work experience.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills required.
Computer literacy, including effective working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
Previous experience in handling confidential or sensitive information.
Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion.
Previous experience in project management an asset.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing Techniques an asset.
Work Conditions
Some travel will be required.
Weekend work may be required.
