Position Overview
As a Vintage Cellar Hand, you’ll play a vital role in our fast-paced and dynamic harvest operation. This seasonal role requires full availability for up to six days a week, with shifts up to 12 hours per day (day or night shift rotation). The harvest season runs from late August to late November, with exact dates to be confirmed. During this period, you will gain valuable hands-on experience across the Crush Pad, Cellars, and Barrel Cellar.
What You’ll Do
Operate equipment to receive, sort, and press grapes.
Perform key winemaking tasks, including racking, inoculations, transferring, blending, and fermentation monitoring.
Conduct punch downs, pump overs, and dig outs.
Assist with barrel work, such as filling, fermenting, racking, sampling, and topping.
Clean and sanitize winery equipment to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure exceptional wine quality.

What We’re Looking For
Previous vineyard or harvest experience is a plus, but enthusiastic first-time candidates are welcome!
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, hands-on, and safety-conscious.
Ability to lift 22 kg (48 lbs) regularly.
Available for 12-hour shifts (day or night) throughout the harvest season.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. International applicants must be able to secure a Canadian working visa on their own.
